This boutique brand would be a stretch from traditional Marriott locations, so they were searching for an agency that understood not only the Miami market and clientele, but that could incorporate the Marriott logo on collateral without affecting the boutique aesthetic. Marriott International wanted to open their first boutique-style hotel in order to compete with the South Beach demographic.
